What We Do

LaSalle Fire and Emergency Services, located at 1227 5th Street LaSalle, Illinois consists of 4 full-time members and 18 paid on-call members. LaSalle Fire and Emergency Services responsibilities include fire suppression and extinguishment, auto extrication, hazardous materials response, Emergency Medical Training, cold-water rescue, fire investigation and Severe Weather Spotter training. Members of the department are certified and/or educated in each of the areas above.

Community Related Projects

Fire Safety House

LaSalle Fire and Emergency Services along with LaSalle Firefighters Association raised $25,000.00 to purchase a "Fire Safety House." To date more than 2,000 area children have passed through the Safety House. Contact your local emergency services or fire department to request a visit from "Pluggie" or the Safety House.

Pluggie the Fire Plug

"Pluggie the Robot, Fire Plug" is just one of the fire prevention programs offered by LaSalle Fire and Emergency Services. The child-friendly robotic interactively communicates fire safety tips to children of all ages.
