A Hegeler Carus Christmas
–December 11, 12, and 13th, 7:30 p.m., and December 14, 4 p.m. at the Hegeler Carus Mansion in LaSalle. Relive Christmas in the year 1893 with an interactive performance enlisting the talents of locals who fill the roles of prominent historical characters.
 
"Christmas Joy" Presented by the Prairie Singers
–Friday, December 12, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Starved Rock Lodge. Enjoy seasonal songs presented by a chamber ensamble during a delicious dinner in the Great Hall. Tickets are $37 per person. For more information, call 815-200-7386.
Breakfast with Santa
–Saturday, December 20, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Starved Rock Lodge. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for a breakfast buffet. Following breakfast, guests can enjoy Christmas stories by Trish Kelly. Children may take turns sitting on Santa's lab, and will recieve a chocolate treat. Cost is $11.95 for adults and $8.95 for children under 10. Call 800-868-7625 ext. 386 for tickets.
